Another returning player, wondering where Anet is
I've been on yet another hiatus since... Late August I think. Still I've vaguely kept up with updates until October and now I was wondering...
Wasn't there supposed to be a major skill balance in November? Wich was postponed to December? Wich never actually happened? What's going on, am I seeing things the wrong way or have Anet dropped the ball yet AGAIN for a whole 2 months? After all of this, when is that skill balanced due to? |

Yes.
Yes. Yes. The latter. We can only suspect the balance will come next month (Jan), but Anet did not really specify. Although I'm disappointed that its taking this long, I'd rather Anet take their time to make this update good than repeat the last year&half's worth of updates which made the game worse and worse. No update is better than a poorly executed update. |

Didn't they mention a while ago that Skill updates, once the test krewe were up and running, would be every 2 months?
I seem to remember this from when the first GW2 trailer was being unveiled and there was a Q&A session with the dev of the current game. (youtube channel) I might be completely wrong, but i defenitely remember reading/watching/hearing from a credible source lol. |

Yes I reckon they should take the time to deliver a decent update, but 2 months beyond schedule is ridiculous. We're going on 4 months without no skill changes whatsoever.

Have to say, this isn't surprising to me, I actually expect this stuff - my standards towards Anet and GW are that low. But I'm still saddened to see I haven't been proven wrong. |

If I remember correctly, Regina has said that the skill balance is being pushed back to January. We, the Test Krewe, are still working on it.

On the upside, the delay could indicate that the new Test Krewe is actually quashing bad changes and getting them sent back to the drawing board. We'll see when the update finally comes. Remember, good balance updates are better than frequent balance updates.

I forgot about the Test Krewe, this is the first skill balance they're involved am I correct? That sort of changes things, you might be right Chthon. I'm starting to get high hopes for this update then, things can only get better I reckon. Also hoping they can meet the January mark.

Remember that in the end Anet is the ones that decide what happens,The TK could be sweating themselves working hard, but it could all be for nothing,From past experiences I know not to hold my breath. At this point ill take horrible update with open arms, more Broken SF, stupid Palm Strikes,Monk nukes and anything like that, at least that way we get new stuff to play with. |
